было предложено основные ПАРАЛЛЕЛИ И МЕРИДИАНЫ(а затем и не основные)
разбить,условно, на отрезки по 40 градусов и организовать научные
экспедиции в соответствующие географические районы(как минимум,районы
аномальных явлений).ЭТО ТОЛЬКО ГЕОГРАФИЧЕСКОЕ ПРИЛОЖЕНИЕ...
А сколько приложений приведено в недоступной литературе 18--21 веков,
