LONDON (AP) -- American rapper Busta Rhymes has won the right to perform at a charity concert in Britain.

A High Court judge ruled that Rhymes could play at London's Royal Albert Hall on Friday night, even as he challenges the British government's decision to keep him out of the country.

Immigration officials stopped the rapper on Thursday at a London airport, citing his previous legal difficulties in the United States. But the judge ordered his release.

The concert is a charity gig. People who had completed four hours of volunteer work were rewarded with a concert ticket.

Rhymes has said in a statement that he hopes to be on stage as scheduled. The artist's real name is Trevor George Smith Jr.
